Project Editor
Micromanager provides
several different power
methods of project
estimation as well as
numerous optional
features to allow for
maximum flexibility and
control when creating an
estimate.
The two primary
estimation types are:
Cost Based
Estimating
Micromanager calculates
material and labor and
allows numerous other
pricing factors to be
included in the
estimate. The materials
are calculated by
calculating material
quantity requirements
and applying the price
values for the material
based on Material Class
setup information. The
labor is calculated
based on the default
factory layout and
activity path setup.
Each part and product is
routed through the
production process based
on its activity path and
labor prices are applied
according to labor price
values set at the
Activity Station level.
Library
Product Based Estimating
Pricing is based on a
preset price per product
in a user created
library. This price is
entered per style group
per product. Additional
pricing factors can be
added to the library and
added to products in an
estimate. Prices for
finished ends,
installation, and
shipping can also be
assigned at the product
level in the library.
